GDI Completes Specialty Interior Systems for Riverview Health Centre Child Care Centre

GDI provided drywall, insulation, blow-in insulation, and specialty leaf and ceiling installations for the new Riverview Health Centre Child Care Centre in Winnipeg.

Winnipeg, MB – October 2026

GDI is proud to have contributed to the new Riverview Health Centre Child Care Centre, a purpose-built child care facility located on the Riverview Health Centre campus in Winnipeg.

The new centre is planned to provide 16 infant spaces and 64 preschool spaces, expanding access to licensed early learning and child care. The centre will be operated in partnership with Inspired By Wonder, whose focus includes building inclusive communities for children and families.

Working under Park West Projects Ltd. as General Contractor, GDI’s scope included drywall, insulation, blow-in insulation, and specialty leaf and ceiling features.

The interior design gives the project a distinctive character. Suspended, colourful leaf-shaped features create a playful focal point within the high-ceiling common space, while GDI’s drywall, insulation and ceiling work contributes to the finished interior environment throughout the facility.

GDI is pleased to contribute its interior systems expertise and craftsmanship to a facility designed around children, families and the broader community.
